Kjrsten Colleen Schindler was born in Minnesota. She grew up with her parents on their farm in Minnesota (2001-2002), Wisconsin (2002-2005), South Dakota (2005-2023), and Delta Junction, Alaska (2012-present). She lived in Fairbanks, Alaska (2019-2025) while attending the University of Alaska Fairbanks (UAF), and now resides in Delta Junction, Alaska.
When she started at UAF, she majored in Biology and Pre-Vet medicine to become a veterinarian. After a series of circumstances, Kjrsten decided to take a break from Biology and enroll in fun classes, including her first acting class, her first psychology class, and her first vocal class. These classes reignited a passion she had several years earlier when she saw The Phantom of the Opera in Las Vegas and sat under the chandelier as it dropped.
In her third year, Kjrsten embarked on a new journey as a double major in Psychology and Film, alongside double minors in Creative Writing and Music: Vocal Performance. She continued on this path until her fifth year when she added two more minors: Justice and Theatre. Although Kjrsten completed most of her education at UAF, she also studied film at Utah State during the summer of 2021. She believes this class sparked her current academic journey, while her first acting class served as the catalyst.
Kjrsten would also love to thank a few people who have provided her with great inspiration, support, and love, including but not limited to her mom, her dad, Dulce Villasenor, the Villasenor family, Carrie Baker, Maya Salganek, Daryl Farmer, Jen Peterson, Amy Horstman-Ingram, and so many more friends she met along the way!
